Hi, all Metro Home Builders' "victims".

Many of us have lost very significant amounts of money, many made payments upfront but did not get services provided or items delivered. The total debt of the company is evaluated at $3.3M while the assets are at only $82K, and all customers are listed as "non-priority" creditors meaning that the chance for us to get our money back is minuscule. It certainly looks strange that the company that operated successfully for several years, whose revenue is $14.8 M just for the first half of this year (which is greater than all last year), who has just sold their model home for M1.3M, and whose President just finished construction of his own multi-million-dollar home almost does not have assets. By the way, he bought the house from his own company WSC HOMES LLC.

There are many facts showing the vicious intent of the President to deceive people and hide the money before he filed for bankruptcy. They were taking our payments knowing that they were going under and used our money not to build our houses but to finish their own and to pay their debts. It is a violation of Florida law. A spike in reselling their real estate assets just prior to filing bankruptcy also indicates their intention to hide the money.

We need a good attorney who specializes in such cases and is capable of helping us to recover our money. We know that legal fees can be huge and we simply cannot afford more spending under the circumstances when we are already at huge losses. But if we unite in a group, we can significantly lower the individual cost and increase our chances to find their hidden assets and get our money back.

The attorney we spoke with encouraged all of us involved to form a creditor group with all affected members.

There are already a few of us who are willing to explore this path. We are going to have a conference call with this lawyer where he'll explain the scope of his work, our chances for success, and possible costs. The larger the group, the more attention we can draw, which can strengthen our position and improve the probability of success.
